estimated gross hourly rate
This is a gross pay conversion only. It does not adjust for overtime eligibility, unpaid breaks, taxes, or employer benefits.
How this is calculated
Salaried jobs are often quoted as an annual figure, but hourly workers think in rate × hours. This tool divides your annual salary by the total hours you actually work: hours per week × weeks per year.
The hourly equivalent is useful for comparing offers, checking whether a salaried role pays less than an hourly one after accounting for unpaid overtime, or sanity-checking side-gig rates.
Results are gross only. To see net pay after tax, continue to the take-home pay calculator.
Hourly rate = annual salary ÷ (hours per week × weeks per year); biweekly gross = annual salary ÷ 26
