Hourly pay inputs
Use 52 for a full year or lower if unpaid time off is expected.
estimated annual gross pay
This tool converts gross hourly pay into gross salary equivalents. It does not include overtime premiums, taxes, or benefits.
How this is calculated
This is gross pay math only — no taxes, overtime premiums, or benefits. The default assumes 40 hours per week and 52 weeks per year (2,080 hours), which is the standard full-time baseline in the U.S.
Weekly gross is hourly rate × hours per week. Annual gross multiplies weekly pay by weeks per year. Biweekly and semimonthly figures use standard payroll divisors (26 and 24) for comparison across pay schedules.
After you know the gross salary equivalent, estimate take-home pay with the paycheck calculator or check overtime impact with the overtime calculator.
Annual salary = hourly rate × hours per week × weeks per year; weekly = hourly rate × hours per week
